Until recently she was Director of Strategic Planning and Communications for the City of Winnipeg and also served as Chief of Staff for the Mayor’s office. Bonnie previously worked as the Vice President for Corporate Communications, Government Relations, and Sponsorships for MTS Allstream, where she played a key role strategic planning, media relations, employee engagement and regulatory communications. She also served as Press Secretary and Director of Communications for the Premier of Manitoba.Bonnies uses her expertise to help clients enhance their messaging and navigate through sensitive political waters. She is in her element when representing clients in political meetings, Fortune 500 board rooms and media scrums.

Bonnie joined ChangeMakers in the fall of 2015, bringing her 25-plus years of experience as a strategic communications expert. As Director of Public Affairs and Stakeholder Relations, Bonnie leads our public relations, government relations, reputation management, issues management and community engagement division.
Bonnie has advised government at all levels and large organizations on public policy, communications, issues management and strategic planning for a number of major public policy initiatives. She was responsible for developing and executing many government-wide strategic communications plans with quick and effective responses to contentious issues and events.
