She is skilled at helping clients understand what strategies and tactics will help achieve their organizational and project goals. Kris also is a natural relationship-builder, an ability that helps lead our clients to success, particularly as Kris applies it to steering projects through multiple approval layers while keeping clients informed and involved to reach satisfactory conclusions. Among the many successes Kris has helped clients achieve are the cat licensing campaign, #Whiskerpeg, we developed and implemented for the City of Winnipeg Animal Services Agency; cross-departmental strategic planning for communicators in the Government of Nunavut; and rebranding and marketing communications planning for Operating Engineers Local 987.
Kris rejoined ChangeMakers in 2013, having been with us from 2005 – 2009 and then spending four years as communications director at United Way Winnipeg. Now Kris works closely with our creative team and our clients, keeping projects on track, on time, on brand and budget. She conveys her clients’ goals, needs and perspectives to our team to ensure our creative is appropriate to the client, the message and the audience. Her ability to be the client’s voice internally has resulted in successful rebranding for Pembina Trails School Division and Manitoba Building Trades and branding new organizations, such as RPM Trucking Industry Safety. Kris maintains the momentum from launching a new visual brand to guide clients to living their brand in all facets of marketing and communications.
